About Me

My love of crafting began when I was given a gift of a pendant which had been hand-crafted solely using materials found on a beach in Scotland.  I loved the idea of being able to create something so beautiful and unique by hand and was inspired to begin making my own jewellery.

Since then, I've become almost obsessed with trying out new crafts and creative ideas and I've worked with a wide range of media including beeswax (encaustic art - which is painting with hot beeswax!), art clay silver, polymer clay, driftwood and resin - to name but a few.

I'm also very keen on photographer and, in particular, a technique known as High Density Range photography, which allows incredibly vibrant and detailed photographs by combing three different exposures of one scene.
